Zoe’s father, A.S. Neill, founded Summerhill. In the original Summerhill book she is a young child at Summerhill. Neill founded Summerhill in 1921, so they are in the process of celebrating their 100th anniversary. This August they hope to have an in-person celebration at Summerhill. Last year there was a virtual one.
Zoe is the current HEAD of Summerhill. How could that be? He had her at the age of 63!
