Tahi is a small independent K-8 school opening in Central Ohio in 2021. We follow a holistic-global approach to education. Our educational program centers on the development of the whole person, adopts an inquiry-based curriculum, emphasizes self-directed learning, and aims to cultivate conscious global citizens. I am seeking a partner to join me in the startup of the school. I am an educator with over 25 years of experience in K-12 schools and higher education and strong background in alternative approaches to schooling. I am looking for an experienced and innovative educator who wants to make a difference in education and who shares the values and vision of the school.
I am seeking a partner with K-3 teaching certification, who is willing to relocate to Ohio by Fall 2021 to take the teacher lead role. Experience with project-based learning, art integration, and self-directed learning is essential. Collaboration during the startup phase could be done from a distance through video conferencing.
The ideal person would have an entrepreneurial zeal for the mission, be energetic and demonstrate a desire and ability to make things happen.
