Instructors in Holistic Education needed for kindergarten in Shishi, Fujian, China.

Originateve is sponsoring the recruitment of 2 instructors in Holistic Education
with a focus on Cultural and Ecological Regeneration for Master Tree
Kindergarten.

Job Description:

Master Tree Kindergarten is an Originateve Wood Certified school. As such, we
have a commitment to foster a holistic environment wherein our children and
adult community can together explore regenerative practice and design with a
strong emphasis on ecology and culture. We are seeking enthusiastic colleagues
eager to co-operate and grow alongside our tenderfoot community. Candidates
interested in joining our team should have deep interests in childhood
development, the arts, community living, ecology and life-long learning practices.
Along with the kids we play with, day in and day out, we believe that the world is a
play-garden in which to remember our ancestral capacity to appreciate beauty
and engage by creating even more beauty of it. We have sandpits, swimming
pools, a library, live-stock, a workshop, a rooftop garden and more for you to
recognize emergent curriculum and orchestrate enriched learning moments for
your kids.

We welcome painters, gardeners, storytellers, carpenters, bards and all who have
learned that there is no greater gift than that of planting a seed in the hearts of
those growing beneath our wings.
Compensation:

Position starts at 12,ooormb/month + housing + insurance + paid holidays + one-
way air-ticket home upon completion of contract and other benefits to be
discussed with interested candidates. Lunch included. Dinner is optional for those
who chose to stay with kids thru 5.30pm.

Work Visa Requirements:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree
  2. 1-2 years (teaching) experience after graduation
  3. TESOL Certification (we can provide assistance if necessary)
  4. No age restriction but vitality is a must.

AEROx Regional Event November 1st!

AEROx Regional Event in 12 Days! Longview Students Will Demonstrate Democratic Meeting!

The AEROx Regionalevent hosted by Longview School in Brewster, NY, November 1 – 3, 2019 
Take a look at the breakout sessions, panels that we have so far. Unschooling expert Kerry McDonald with her daughter will do a workshop together. On Saturday evening Longview students will take us through their democratic meeting! Attendees will include a diverse group of teenagers and adults from democratic schools, liberated learner centers, unschooling, self-directed education. Also there will be a mine craft server. Bay State Learning Center (BSLC) Makerspace Enthusiast

BSLC in Dedham is seeking a volunteer who enjoys kids, has patience, is fun and conscientious, and loves to tinker. The ideal candidate would have good organizational skills they would apply towards two main goals.

1. Set up and enforce a skills gradient/leveling system for use of the tools and equipment.

2. Planning and executing an activity once a week along with hosting classes to educate interested students on the use of the tools/equipment. 

There is the potential for this to become a paid position.

Bay State offers 10-18 year old students a customized education. We are a non-coercive environment where kids choose their classes. We as the adults are considered “guide on the side” providing deeper knowledge, access to information, and ways to increase their learning based on their interests and passions.
