DESCRIPTION OF JOB OPPORTUNITY

I am looking for a position at the secondary or college level that combines my
background in Spanish / Hispanic Studies and my work as a holistic practitioner
that helps people and animals with health and well-being issues. I envision that my
primary contribution will be in the teaching of Spanish, with a value-added
contribution in the area of holistic wellness. I would welcome the opportunity to
join a team of health-care professionals and holistic practitioners that empower
young people to take charge of their own health and well-being, including teaching
workshops in the areas of stress management and intuitive development.

It’s a shot in the arm to be with thinkers and creative types after being in the ed trenches.

This will be my first AERO conference. I’m coming…

To hear about other ways of doing self-directed education
To talk and think about self-directed ed with others who are deep into it
To meet people and hear their stories
To support the important work of AERO and the amazing resource that is Jerry Mintz
To experience an AERO conference, after decades of wondering about it
To reconnect with people I know in other self-directed democratic schools
To relax and enjoy not being in charge
