Feedback From AEROx

I look so forward to these conferences- thank u for all the hard work u guys put in making it one of the most informative, educational, and fun event! :)

I enjoyed the diversity of keynote speakers.

I was impressed by the expertise of the speakers. I look forward to future AERO events.

It was, as always, re-invigorating, validating, exciting, inspiring, fun, joyful, like a really amazing summer camp – with the bonus of my brain being totally challenged and engaged! Thank you!

Youth. Either we meet the younger people where they are, or AERO invites the younger generation to organize a greater part of the program so that they are more involved. Ultimately, it will be their experience or the experience of their children that might be altered.

I do hope we are at the tipping point with complete change to how we approach learning. Thanks for everything done behind the scenes to pull off this conference.

I have run and organized numerous professional development programs, including two conferences, and know how much work this involves. My comments are only meant to help make future conferences better and should not be taken as a disregard for all that you have done. You must be both thrilled and exhausted and should give yourselves a pat on the back for a job well done.

I cannot emphasise enough how critical this event is in highlighting the need for a learner-centered approach to education; especially in Africa where we are still doing the colonial (old) education system.

Love, love, love AERO.

This is my 3rd conference and I always leave feeling so warm. Glad to be around like-minded people.

There’s no other event that I know of that brings together the quality of passionate people that AERO brings. Keep it up.

Thank u Aero!!!

I love connecting with people from around the world. Thank you so much!

Every workshop and Keynote I attended was amazing. It was evident that they truly care about the needs and wants of children and young people when it comes to education today. In addition, the attendees I met through the different workshops were kind, supportive, and overall wonderful to connect with. It helped reassure my family and I that we are on the right path- a path of freedom and joy in learning. I am grateful for AERO and the community it has worked so hard to create.

It was great. I don’t know if she’s spoken at this conference before, but its be cool to hear Layla Abdel-Rahim speak. She wrote Wild Children – Domesticated Dreams.

Thanks for all your hard work. AERO conferences are still unique!!

I heard some of the feedback about young people attending and I also think an AERO conference ORGANIZED BY YOUTH is a good idea. They just don’t get off on old people.

I appreciated the BIPOC speakers and content

I found the AEROx Virtual Conference to be both refreshing and informative!

Great event!

I thought it was very well organised, remotely and plenty of options/channels for people to connect.

No, everything was perfect =)

It is great that Sri Aria is involved, and that you had presenters from everywhere, it is less just for Americans as it used to be, it feels like we can all own it now. Thank you! You are doing a great thing

The greater diversity improved the conference in every way, including the quality and originality of the presentations and the sense of our education movement’s common ground with other anti-oppression movements. The technical glitches were inevitable. There seemed to be more than there were last June–maybe because so many people are zooming now. I get a lot of crashes in weekdays now.

I should have bought more popcorn!

I loved how globally diverse it was.

U did it again Jerry!

U and ur unbelievable team pulled off another  super successful Aerox!!!!!!

It was a superb conference and I loved it so much!! Thank u for letting me a part of it, and for all your patience with me, and support.

Thank u to you, Peter, Anthony, Kristy and all the others behind the scene I don’t know about. :)

Well well done and thank u to u all!! Another life-changing experience for me.

Warm and Kind Regards

From Sunny SA, Taryn.
