{"id":3858,"date":"2013-09-13T14:58:47","date_gmt":"2013-09-13T18:58:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.educationrevolution.org\/store\/product\/sustainingmember\/"},"modified":"2020-09-04T13:05:01","modified_gmt":"2020-09-04T17:05:01","slug":"sustainingmember","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/www.educationrevolution.org\/store\/product\/sustainingmember\/","title":{"rendered":"AERO Sustaining Member"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Show your support for AERO with a monthly\u00a0tax-deductible contribution!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Alternative Education Resource Organization (AERO) is a non-profit organization that relies on donations and contributions to do our important work.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Every year AERO hosts a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.educationrevolution.org\/blog\/finding-the-catalyst-for-the-education-revolution\/\"><strong>conference<\/strong><\/a> for parents, students, teachers, researchers, and media interested in alternative education, democratic education, homeschooling, unschooling, Montessori, Waldorf, and progressive education.<\/li>\n<li>AERO organizes and runs multiple <a href=\"http:\/\/www.educationrevolution.org\/blog\/category\/courses\/\"><strong>online courses and consultations<\/strong><\/a> for people around the world starting new educational alternatives in their communities.<\/li>\n<li>AERO maintains <a href=\"http:\/\/www.educationrevolution.org\/\"><strong>educationrevolution.org<\/strong><\/a>, one of the highest-trafficked alternative education websites on the Internet with articles and essays from AERO contributors located around the world.<\/li>\n<li>AERO publishes and distributes numerous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.educationrevolution.org\/store\/\"><strong>books, DVDs, and CDs<\/strong><\/a> for the alternative education community.<\/li>\n<li>AERO maintains highly-trafficked <a href=\"http:\/\/www.educationrevolution.org\/blog\/category\/alternatives\/\"><strong>lists of democratic and alternative schools and organizations<\/strong><\/a> from around the world.<\/li>\n<li>AERO is currently building and formalizing our large <a href=\"http:\/\/www.educationrevolution.org\/blog\/aero-local-state-country-representatives\/\"><strong>global network of representatives<\/strong><\/a> so that we can help more people in more places get local information and support about finding, starting, or researching educational alternatives, whether they are in Moscow, Minnesota, or Miami.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is through your help and support that we are able to continue to work towards our mission and truly create the <em>Education Revolution<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Once you do become a sustainer or make a donation your membership rises to a higher level. For example:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A $5 a month sustainer gets a choice of any book from our bookstore.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A $10 a month sustainer gets a 50% discount to the AERO Conference plus a free book.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A $15 a month sustainer gets free admission to the next AERO Conference plus a free book.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A $50 a month sustainer gets free admission to the Online AERO School Starter Course, the AERO conference and a free book.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">All sustainers and donors will be able to join our listserves and forums.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>All these will also be rewarded for a one-time donation for the monthly amount times 12.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">SCHOOLS OR ORGANIZATIONS that become sustainers will get<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Membership at the $5 level<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Membership and member site banner at the $10 level.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">All school or organizational members will get to join our forums and listserves, get 10% discounts for the conference and bookstore for ALL their members!<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The regular school\/organizational membership will go to $100 a year on September 1st.&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you!<\/p>\n<p>-The Staff of the Alternative Education Resource Organization<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please consider supporting the Alternative Education Resource Organization as we work to create\u00a0the education revolution.
