Along the way I met and got to know many others who have been working&nbsp;on doing similar things. And today, with the increasingly standardized and inflexible&nbsp;educational system we have, many more individuals and groups are working to create&nbsp;alternatives. I believe there is a need for targeted assistance to help these alternatives&nbsp;become viable and sustainable programs and communities.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tMy experience building BFS coupled with prior business, finance and operational&nbsp;experiences will help me to help you become more sustainable by working with you on&nbsp;areas such as these:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tBudgeting, financial projections&nbsp;and analysis, fundraising&nbsp;\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tMedia and public relations&nbsp;\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tOperations and facilities&nbsp;management&nbsp;\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tStrategic plan and partnerships\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tCommunity relations and&nbsp;organizing&nbsp;\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tBoard development&nbsp;\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tRegulatory compliance\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tManagement and leadership&nbsp;development&nbsp;\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tStaff and organizational&nbsp;development\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tI&#39;m based out of the New York City area, but fine with traveling.
