In particular, this position will ask employees to get to know students,&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\toffer suggestions for materials, resources, and activities relevant to their interests. Employees will also&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tbe responsible for helping the community to uphold democratically voted upon rules and agreements.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn addition to regular hours, staff will be asked to participate in a weekly staff meeting, and bi-monthly&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tall community meetings (parents, students, and staff). This job requires patience, conflict mediation&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tskills, curiosity, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Preferred Experience<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tA background in education is helpful though not required\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tExperience working with children of any age\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tFacilitation experience\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tSkills and interests that are shared with student body\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tFriendly and active personality\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Details<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tThree days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) 8:30am-3:30pm\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tStaff meetings are weekly, Wednesday from 4pm-6pm\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tBi-monthly All Community Meetings occur on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 5-8pm\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tPay starts at $10 an hour with a raise to $11 after a 3 month trial period\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tStaffing decisions are made democratically by students, staff, and parents and may take up to a&nbsp;month to finalize\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Contact Information<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIf you are interested in learning more about the position, or would like to set up and interview please&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\twrite to us at littlelakefs@gmail.com and provide us with a copy of your resume.
