\n\tJob description\/responsibilities: To assist in daily activities of the including opening\/closing, meal preparation, administrative duties, general cleaning, organizing, and attending meetings. To support K-12 grade students in academic, social and emotional growth through advising, teaching and tutoring students in our unique democratic environment. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tRequired Qualifications: 4 year degree (preferred), direct <\/span>experience with diverse youth and collective process or <\/span>democratic education. A driver’s license and teacher’s license <\/span>is not required but one or both is a plus! Background check, 3 <\/span>references, and a one year commitment are also required. <\/span>\n<\/p>\n \n\tQualities we are looking for in candidates: Fun, reliable, <\/span>flexible, open, caring, compassionate, patient, able to “let go” <\/span>of adult privilege, supportive of GDS mission and adult\/youth <\/span>partnerships <\/span>\n<\/p>\n \n\tPay rate: $12.00\/hourly <\/span>\n<\/p>\n \n\tHours: 4 hours per day, weekdays (M-F) x 4 weeks per month, <\/span>August-June. Hours are somewhat flexible, to be scheduled <\/span>between 9:00am and 5:00pm.
