{"id":5243,"date":"2014-03-09T14:18:08","date_gmt":"2014-03-09T18:18:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.educationrevolution.org\/store\/?p=5243"},"modified":"2014-03-09T14:18:08","modified_gmt":"2014-03-09T18:18:08","slug":"job-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.educationrevolution.org\/store\/job-6\/","title":{"rendered":"Trellis Community Learning Partnership School is looking for a dynamic educator to join us in our elementary program this September (2014)."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Qualified candidates will need to have experience in an educational setting (beyond homeschooling).<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tTrellis is a dynamic educational environment, focused on joyful, authentic, hands-on learning. &nbsp;Our educators embody the following characteristics and skills:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">treat children with kindness and respect, making every effort to afford each child the maximum potential for growth, both academically&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">and on a social\/emotion level&nbsp;<\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">design and implement engaging hands-on learning opportunities that reflect genuine student interest&nbsp;<\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">design and implement lessons that reflect thoughtful consideration of goals, objectives, child audience, and developmental levels&nbsp;<\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">maintain flexibility in teaching, while responding and adjusting topics and approaches based on student interest, feedback, and progress&nbsp;<\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">maintain a cooperative and productive relationship with parents, while sharing pertinent information in an appropriate and professional&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">manner&nbsp;<\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">work with other teachers to integrate material between program classes, when natural and appropriate, with an understanding of t<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">he importance of multi-disciplinary connections&nbsp;<\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\tApplications are now being accepted for this position.
