Position Function:<\/strong>Facilitating SDE at a small parent led wholistic learning and therapy center that supports creativity, freedom and inclusive collaboration. ALC education model. This position requires focusing on 1 student, age 10 with high complexity special needs.<\/p> Position Responsibilities:<\/strong>\u2022 Review student assessments and study plan in order to understand functioning and needs of child\u2022 Assist student in all activities of daily living\u2022 Design and offer lessons that reflect knowledge of child development and SDE\u2022 Facilitate activities of the day (open the day \/ set intentions, work through cycles of intention, creation, reflection and sharing, close the day \/ gratitude circle)\u2022 Utilize a variety of academic and social activities to provide opportunity for use of Proloquo2go communication app\u2022 Reflect SDE knowledge to advise parents, teachers and therapists on how to appropriately adjust activities and environment\u2022 Complete billing invoices (1 per week)\u2022 Record measurable progress (blogs, portfolios, images, etc.)<\/p> Schedule:<\/strong>Our hours are 10am-4pm, 7 days per week.
