This science teacher will teach an eight week class to a small group of interested teens, March-April, 2017.&nbsp; The class will meet twice a week, offering three hours\/week instruction in the subject area.&nbsp; Applicants must have experience teaching teens in formal or informal settings&nbsp;utilizing project based instruction and assessment.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe school is located in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY.&nbsp; Teachers receive &nbsp;$25\/hour, plus appropriate compensation for supplies. &nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tBrooklyn Free School engages students and staff in democratic decision-making and problem solving. We honor student choice and facilitate student centered learning through play and exploration, constructivist teaching, collaborative course work and self-directed student initiatives.
