Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the 7th annual AERO conference, “Learner-Centered Alternatives for Everyone!” The conference will be held at the gorgeous Crowne Plaza Hotel in historic downtown Albany. We have a limited number of vendor opportunities which will go fast! Please read on to find out more about vending and how to apply.
Why become a vendor at the AERO Conference?
- You will reach hundreds of teachers, parents, administrators, students, and individuals intimately involved in educational alternatives.
- In addition to our expected four hundred attendees, we will have a number of special events open to the public, such as Herbert Kohl and John Taylor Gatto’s keynote talks.
- Attendees are expecting to be exposed to exciting products, services, information, resources, colleges, and schools, so why not put your name front and center!
- Your name will be placed in the conference program and have the opportunity to place your literature in the registration welcome bag
- You will receive a free banner ad on www.EducationRevolution.org which receives thousands of hits monthly from the time you sign up until the conference! This alone is worth the price!
- Colleges & universities, non-profit organizations, authors & book sellers, businesses with products targeted at specific groups (i.e. homeschoolers), and businesses with ecologically friendly and/or alternative products among others.
- Your table will be located outside our main speaking hall which is at the heart of conference and a primary walkway to the workshop rooms. Every conference attendee will be passing by your table numerous times each day. We have attempted to schedule all of our networking opportunities and special events in the main hall which will only increase the traffic to your table. Traffic will be greatly increased from last year, which was considered a success by our vendors!
- All of the tables are premium tables in the heart of the conference. Due to space requirements, we will only be able to offer a limited number.
- Tables Cost $300 for the entire conference. There is no single day rate.
- Tables will not be reserved until a deposit of 50% of the fee has been paid. The remaining amount will be due in full by May 1st. Credit Card, Check, and Money Orders will be accepted.
- Vendors only pay a conference fee if they would like to participate in any of the talks/workshops or if they would like to present a talk/workshop. The special vendor registration fee is only $100 for up to two people.

- Thursday, 8am-9:30pm
- Friday, 8am-10pm
- Saturday, 8am-2:30pm (tables must be completely packed up by 4pm)
- We are in a hotel, which has foot traffic other than the conference. You can leave your table up over night (it really should be fine), but we are not responsible if anything unfortunate were to happen. We have a secure room where you can move your table and/or valuables each night. The labor will be done on your behalf and you can be assured of maximum exposure throughout our event—including reminders to visit your table before all of our main events.

We reserve the right to turn down vendors if we feel the product/service does not fit in with our organization’s mission. We will review each vendor and make the determination within a few days after receiving the application.
