The Alternative Education Resource Organization (AERO) is one of the highest trafficked alternative education resources online. People searching for topics surrounding alternative education, democratic education, Montessori, Waldorf, and progressive education, homeschooling, unschooling, and education reform find themselves on AERO’s website.
AERO readers hail from every corner of the world with the majority coming from the United States, Canada, the UK, and Australia. With our effort to increase our Spanish-language offerings (including AERO’s partnership with Educacion Alternativa and our Spanish-language School Starter’s online course) we expect to increase our share of Spanish-speaking readers.
Product Description
Our new website redesign is meant to put front and center the ideas and organizations that advance and support the education revolution: the global movement toward learner-centered, self-empowered education. Our new front page highlights critical articles, essays, and news from around the world. Our goal is to present the work of the alternative education community in the most attractive way possible.
Pages that prove very popular for our readers, aside from our front page and articles, include our Resources page (which catalogs various links related to alternative education), our Job Listings page (where AERO member schools and organizations can post openings), the list of our member schools and organizations, the list of democratic schools, and resource pages for higher education, homeschooling/unschooling, Montessori education, Waldorf education, and public alternative education. In addition to these spaces where you could advertise, we have a newsletter that goes out to our list of about 10,000 people every 1-2 weeks and includes a sidebar ad space.
If your business, organization, or school would like to advertise on the AERO site, select which page you’d like your ad to appear on, how long you’d like to be there, and whether you’d like the AERO team to design your ad for maximum impact.
If you’d like to design and submit your own ad, here are the specs:
- 280px by 280px – for all pages except the articles/essays (which use a banner-shaped ad) or AERO’s newsletter
- 470px by 60px – for the banner on article/essay pages (your banner will appear on every article/essay page on AERO’s site)
- 160px by 320px – for the newsletter sidebar
- All ads should be 72 dpi and should be sent to AERO as a .png or .jpg file.
- All ads are clickable and will send viewers to whatever website you’d like.
