We are interested in opening our school up to visiting interns who would want to visit the school for a few weeks at a time. These interns would joining in our on-going classroom and staff processes. We feel that by having new people in our space we can gain their insight and diverse backgrounds, and grow from the new energy they bring. This opportunity would provide the intern with insight into how our school functions so he or she can bring the ideas to the broader community.
Day to day, we expect that they would take on a few supplementary responsibilities of the staff and be open to helping as requested. Hopefully these tasks would resonate with their unique interests and abilities and also benefit the school community. We have no set in stone ideas about how this might look for each individual.
We are looking for someone with an optimistic and positive attitude. Someone who is open to new ideas and experiences and generous with their ideas and knowledge. Dedicated to making the most of their time with us. Who is responsible and respectful. Believes all children are capable and competent.
Potential housing assistance. Please contact us with a letter of interest and statement of pedagogical philosophy.
