A HB Community School is looking for a classroom teacher in the 2013-14 school year. Our school serves children ages 5-12 years old. The classes are: Alpha (5-7), Beta (6-8), Gamma (7-9), Delta (8-10) and Epsilon (9-12). This position could lead to a regular teaching position for the right candidate.
Pre-requisites for hiring include: experience with alternative educational sites, team teaching, project based learning, multi-age classrooms, non-graded/authentic assessments, positive behavior support and content area training in language arts and math. Monday Camp is 9-3 and regular school week is in session Tuesday-Thursday (8:30-3:30) with one monthly staff meeting on the first Friday of every month.
